After it booted, then I was able to turn my anti-virus back on, and the game works normally now. I tried three different things earlier, but it seemed to be my antivirus software that was messing it up this time.Įven though I had added CK2 to my antivirus exception list, I still had to start CK2 once with the antivirus turned off.
